Yes. All PRESTAN Professional Manikins with CPR feedback meet the AHA Integrated Feedback Directive requirements (effective January 2019). The PRESTAN Professional Adult Series 2000 also meets the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada’s feedback requirements (February 2021).
PRESTAN manikins are designed for long-term durability in high-volume training environments. Lifespan depends on usage and maintenance practices.
Monitored manikins include the CPR Rate Monitor — PRESTAN’s patented LED feedback system providing instant visual and audible confirmation of correct compression rate (100–120 cpm) and depth (2.0–2.4 inches). Non-monitored manikins include visual chest rise only. The CPR Rate Monitor can be purchased separately and installed to upgrade any non-monitored PRESTAN Professional Manikin. Look for ‘M’ in the SKU (e.g., PP-AM-100M-MS = monitored).
PORTABLE LINE (Ultralite): Lightest and most affordable — stackable manikins for on-the-go training. Up to 12 units in 39 lbs.
PROFESSIONAL LINE: The trusted standard for training centers and EMS programs. Features the 4-light CPR Rate Monitor for instant rate and depth feedback.
ADVANCED LINE (Series 2000): The most comprehensive feedback system — Bluetooth-enabled PRESTAN CPR Feedback App tracks Rate, Depth, Recoil, Ventilation, Hands-Off Time, and Chest Compression Fraction. Monitor up to 6 students simultaneously.

Technical
Clean skin surfaces with soap and water or non-bleach disinfecting wipes (e.g., Clorox or Lysol wipes). For heavy soiling: Formula 409, Windex, or Vim. Avoid cleaners containing wax, oil, or citrus (d-Limonene).
Lung bags and face shields are single-student consumables — replace between each student during a class session.
Store in carry bag in a cool, dry location. Remove batteries after each use.
1. Download the PRESTAN CPR Feedback App from prestan.app (iOS App Store or Google Play)
2. Power on the manikin with one 1-second compression (you’ll hear a beep and see LEDs)
3. Open the app → go to the Link tab → Select Search Manikin
4. Select your manikin from the list and tap Save
5. The app will begin monitoring in real time
The app supports 28+ languages and can monitor up to 6 students simultaneously.
Face shields and lung bags are designed for easy replacement without tools. Detailed instructions are included with each replacement part. Step-by-step video guides are also available in the PRESTAN Resource Center.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. Check battery — install fresh AA batteries (2 required)
2. Verify proper depth — the audible clicker must sound (ensures adequate compression depth of 2.0–2.4 in.)
3. Check angle — ensure compressions come from directly above the manikin
4. Contact your Authorized Distributor if issues persist.

Training
Yes. Many instructors use different models for different purposes:
- Professional line for center-based certification training
- Portable (Ultralite) line for community outreach and mobile training
- Advanced (Series 2000) line for healthcare and first responder programs
AHA guidelines recommend one manikin per 2–3 students.
Suggested ratios:
- Class of 6–8: 4-pack
- Class of 10–12: 4-pack + 2 individual
- Class of 12–18: Two 4-packs
- Class of 24+: 12-pack or two 4-packs (Ultralite)
Essential consumables per class:
- Face shields / lung bags (one per student per class)
- Cleaning wipes or soap and water for manikin surfaces
- AED training pads (last 25–30 uses per set)
- Replacement batteries (2 AA per manikin with CPR Rate Monitor; 3 C per AED UltraTrainer)

PRESTAN offers a 3-Year Limited Warranty (36 months from date of purchase) covering defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for all CPR Training Manikins and AED Trainers.
Not covered: consumable items (lung bags, face shields, batteries, training pads), misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear.”

1. PRESTAN Manikins are sold both with and without the CPR Rate Monitor. If you want a monitored manikin, look for it specifically mentioned in the title and description or for the part number to include an “M” after the “00”, i.e. PP-AM-100-MS (non-monitored) vs. PP-AM-100M-MS (monitored).
2. Make note of the distributor you are purchasing from through Amazon or eBay in case you need to contact someone for questions or warranty – Amazon/eBay may not be able to assist you. You may also find the distributor information handy for lung bag and face shield reorders.
